Job description

You will be leading the Data Systems & MI Function within 2i, reporting to the VP of Operations. This is a newly established, strategically important role that will shape how 2i uses systems and data to enable organisational performance and scale.

The Data Systems & MI function is envisioned as a strategic enabler of organisational performance. You will design and own systems and data architecture, drive continuous improvement of NetSuite and core enterprise platforms, and modernise 2i's systems through targeted technology and IT enhancements. You will elevate data quality and analytics capability to enable insight-led decision-making, while embedding strong process governance and continuous improvement to ensure systems, data, and ways of working evolve in line with 2i's ambitions.

You will lead a growing team across five workstreams: System Administration & Improvement, Systems & Data Architecture, Process Governance & Data Quality, Process Capture & Improvement, and Data Analytics & Reporting.

Responsibilities:

The key focus of the role is to lead the Data Systems & MI Function, ensuring 2i's systems and data capabilities are fit for purpose today and designed to scale for the future.

System Administration & Improvement

  • Define and own 2i's systems and data architecture, ensuring platforms, integrations, and data flows are designed for long-term sustainability
  • Design target-state architecture and lead integration requirements across enterprise platforms including NetSuite and Salesforce
  • Assess the impact of change and guide solution design to reduce complexity and technical risk
  • Align technology decisions to business strategy and future growth plans

Process Governance & Data Quality

  • Define and embed process ownership, standards, and controls across key business areas
  • Establish data definitions, quality rules, and validation frameworks
  • Monitor compliance and data quality, driving remediation and continuous improvement
  • Ensure data is accurate and trusted for both operational and strategic decision-making

Systems & Data Architecture

  • Lead the stable, secure administration of 2i's core enterprise systems
  • Drive continuous improvement of system functionality, usability, and reliability through automation and integration
  • Ensure systems are well-documented and evolve in line with business needs

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Lead the development of consistent reporting, dashboards, and KPIs that support performance management and strategic decision-making
  • Champion an insight-led, data-driven culture across 2i
  • Oversee the delivery of ad hoc analytics support to internal stakeholders

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Line manage and develop the Systems, Data & IT team, including Analysts and future hires
  • Manage stakeholders and their expectations across all levels of the business
  • Act as the primary point of contact for systems and data escalations

What You'll Bring

At 2i, we value proactiveness and fresh perspectives. So, whilst we have established processes for managing and delivering our work, we're always looking for ways to evolve. You'll bring new ideas, spot ways to improve efficiency and challenge the way things are currently done to make them better.
