Job description

We are looking for an IT & Workplace Infrastructure Technician to support the day-to-day operation of IT systems and technical infrastructure across a multi-site estate.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining IT support with responsibility for cabling, connectivity, CCTV, access control, and workplace systems. You will act as an on-site technical point of contact, helping ensure systems are reliable, well-maintained, and effectively supported.

You will work alongside external providers and contractors, coordinating activities and ensuring systems are effectively implemented and maintained, while contributing to continuous improvements across the estate.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing day-to-day IT support
  • Maintaining systems, servers, and network infrastructure
  • Installing and maintaining cabling and technical infrastructure
  • Managing telephony systems and connectivity
  • Supporting CCTV, access control, intercom, and entry systems
  • Maintaining accurate system and infrastructure documentation
  • Supporting business systems by managing user access, assisting with system operation, troubleshooting issues, and liaising with system providers
  • Providing technical input into site works and improvements
  • Diagnosing issues and coordinating resolution
  • Supporting system reliability and business continuity

Requirements

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Experience in IT support or infrastructure roles

  • Hands-on experience with cabling and installations
  • Understanding of networking and connectivity
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues across systems and environments
  • Strong practical, problem-solving approach with the ability to diagnose and resolve faults
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

Benefits & conditions

  • £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

  • 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am -5:00pm

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
