Job description
- Define and own the enterprise performance engineering strategy, frameworks, and best practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders on performance, scalability, and reliability considerations.
- Provide architectural guidance to ensure performance is built into systems from design through production.
- Lead performance assessments across applications, identifying systemic bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
- Establish and drive performance governance models, including SLA/SLI/SLO definitions aligned with business outcomes.
- Standardize tools, methodologies, and processes across multiple applications and portfolios.
- Drive continuous performance improvement initiatives across release cycles and transformation programs.
- Design and oversee execution of advanced performance testing strategies (load, stress, endurance, scalability).
- Build and present executive-level insights, dashboards, and performance reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, infrastructure, and business teams to integrate performance into the SDLC and DevOps pipelines.
- Mentor and guide performance engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and proactive optimization.
Requirements
Do you have experience in System performance monitoring?, * Deep expertise in performance engineering and architecture across distributed and enterprise systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner, including Citrix Protocol (mandatory).
- Proven experience testing and optimizing Citrix-based desktop applications.
- Hands-on expertise in scripting, execution, and analysis in Citrix environments.
- Strong experience with JMeter or similar open-source performance tools.
- Experience with Dynatrace or equivalent observability and APM platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate metrics into business-impacting insights.
- Experience designing scalable performance frameworks and reusable assets.
Performance Tools: Jmeter and LoadRunner Monitoring + Reporting Dashboards: Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana, and Splunk CI/CD & DevOps Pipelines: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, * Experience in Finance / Auto Finance domains.
- Proven track record of enterprise-level standardization across multiple applications.
- Experience defining performance governance frameworks, SLAs, SLIs, and SLOs.
- Experience driving performance validation within Agile / DevOps / CI-CD environments.
- Exposure to cloud performance engineering (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern architectures (microservices, APIs).
