Job description

· Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, headsets, and peripherals

· Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, VoIP, and user access issues

· Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Mac based workstations and common business applications

· Support employees in a high-volume call center and sales environment with timely issue resolution

· Set up new employee equipment, user accounts, and system access

· Assist with password resets, email troubleshooting, Microsoft 365 support, and conferencing tools

· Respond to help desk tickets and document resolutions in the ticketing system

· Perform routine system updates, patches, and preventative maintenance

· Support conference room technology, phones, and office equipment as needed

· Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary

· Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while working in a security-conscious precious metals environment

Requirements

Do you have experience in Slack?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, The Desktop Support Technician will provide day-to-day technical assistance to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help maintain reliable IT operations across the organization. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and can effectively support users in a high-energy office setting., · High school diploma or equivalent required

· Associate degree, technical certification, or coursework in Information Technology preferred

· Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and computer hardware

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and customer service abilities

· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment

· Reliable transportation and ability to work fully onsite in Leander, TX

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with Microsoft Teams, Slack, NetSuite, or HubSpot is a plus

· Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory preferred

· Experience supporting users in a call center, sales, or customer service environment preferred

· Basic knowledge of printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and office networking equipment

· CompTIA A+ certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred

Physical Requirement:

  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk throughout the workday
