Job description
The Network Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of the organization's network infrastructure. This role ensures reliable network connectivity, optimal performance, and adherence to security best practices across all sites and systems., * Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points)
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure network security through access controls, firewall policies, VPNs, and regular patching
- Manage IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Support LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN and VPN connectivity across multiple locations
- Collaborate with IT teams on system upgrades, network improvements, and infrastructure projects
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and change records
- Perform routine backups and participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Provide tier-2/3 support for network-related incidents and escalations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry security standards
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, + Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and network security principles

Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies

Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools

Experience supporting Microsoft and/or Linux-based environments Preferred Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience administering enterprise networks

Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, A+, Network+, Security+)

Experience with cloud networking and computing (Azure, AWS, or similar)

Knowledge of SD-WAN, VoIP, or network automation tools

Experience in Enterprise multi-site or hybrid environments

Knowledge of Windows Server operating system roles

Familiarity with Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Attention to detail and documentation discipline

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Strong focus on security and reliability Work Environment

In-office Requirement at Bedford, NH headquarters

May require on-call rotation or after-hours maintenance

Occasional travel to remote sites as needed
