Job description

As a part of the Application support team you will become familiar with Credible Behavioral Health (EHR) system and other supporting IT systems for Polk County Health Services end-users. You will act as a subject matter expert on EHR system capabilities and functional use and apply knowledge of client care business workflow to assist in the implementation, testing, go-live, and end user support. On this team you will be supported to develop your leadership skills and expected to take an active role on small and medium size projects with minimal oversight that are focused on problem solving, and applying EHR functionality to enhance clinical workflow and client care. WORK SCHEDULE Monday through Friday 8am-5pm., * Deferred Compensation: Employees may elect to participate in a 457(b) deferred compensation plan through convenient payroll deductions. Requirements

Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, healthcare administration, or related field or three years experience in a computer science related field

  • Preferred EHR application training experience and CPT billing code knowledge

Paid Leave:

  • Vacation: New full-time employees generally earn 12 vacation days per year; this increases with years of service. Part-time employees earn a pro-rated amount.
  • Holidays: A generous number of paid holidays annually. This will vary according to bargaining unit.
  • Personal Leave Days: These are floating holidays. The number of Personal Leave Days varies according to bargaining unit.
  • Sick Leave: 8 hours per month (pro-rated for part time) with no maximum accrual.
  • Other Leaves: Jury duty, bereavement, military.
