Job description

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid -Local candidates and onsite work schedule are preferred, out of state candidates are permitted. (100% remote) We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification Responsibilities

  • Conduct Training Needs Assessments and Audience Analyses to identify learning objectives, performance gaps, target learners, and delivery methods.
  • Design, develop, and maintain 508-compliant instructional materials including course outlines, learning objectives, storyboards, video scripts, course summary sheets, quick reference guides, job aids, and training documentation.
  • Create interactive online learning solutions including eLearning courses, instructor-led training (virtual and onsite), webinars, microlearning modules, videos, simulations, and printable learning materials.
  • Develop SCORM-compliant training content using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
  • Build and administer learner assessments including quizzes, simulations, tests, and practical exercises to evaluate learner comprehension and program effectiveness.
  • Analyze training metrics and assessment results to improve learning outcomes and recommend enhancements to instructional programs.
  • Track instructional design project progress, milestones, deliverables, and timelines using project management methodologies and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), leadership teams, stakeholders, and learners to gather requirements and ensure training accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Review and update existing curriculum and training materials to ensure accuracy, compliance, relevancy, and alignment with industry standards and organizational objectives.
  • Apply adult learning principles, ADDIE, SAM, and Kirkpatrick evaluation methodologies in instructional design processes.
  • Ensure all learning content meets accessibility and 508-compliance standards.
  • Support enterprise-wide Workday ERP implementation and transition initiatives through effective training development and delivery.
  • Create multimedia learning assets including graphics, animations, videos, and interactive elements using Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Workday Learning to manage training delivery, learner tracking, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide regular project status updates and collaborate effectively within a hybrid team environment.
  • Stay current with instructional design trends, gamification strategies, learning technologies, and eLearning best practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in Instructional Design, Training & Development, Education, or related field.
  • Strong expertise in instructional design methodologies including ADDIE, SAM, adult learning principles, and Kirkpatrick evaluation models.
  • Experience developing SCORM-compliant eLearning content and working within Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of 508 accessibility compliance standards and accessible learning design.
  • Experience creating interactive training programs including webinars, microlearning, instructor-led training, and multimedia learning solutions.
  • Proven experience developing instructional materials such as storyboards, course outlines, job aids, video scripts, assessments, and learner guides.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and project tracking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment with onsite collaboration requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
  • Experience supporting large-scale Workday ERP implementations or enterprise system transitions.
  • Experience using Workday Learning Management System for training administration, reporting, and learner tracking.
  • Knowledge of gamification techniques to improve learner engagement.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Experience creating animations, graphics, and interactive multimedia content.
