Job description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst 3 with deep expertise in Cerner Millennium, Cerner Command Language (CCL), and healthcare data transformation to support large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) modernization and migration initiatives., * Analyze and document clinical workflows across inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary care environments

  • Translate clinical and operational requirements into technical specifications and data solutions
  • Design, develop, optimize, and maintain Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts within Cerner Millennium environments
  • Perform complex data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and transformation activities from Oracle-based Cerner Millennium systems
  • Support enterprise EHR migration, reporting modernization, and legacy system retirement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes, flat file extracts, and structured data feeds
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CCL performance issues and downstream reporting or integration challenges
  • Collaborate with clinical informatics teams, stakeholders, and technical delivery teams to ensure accurate implementation of business and clinical requirements
  • Communicate technical limitations, dependencies, and data considerations to non-technical stakeholders
  • Support production and non-production Cerner environments, including batch processing and script execution

Requirements

Do you have experience in Systems & applications support?, This role will focus on clinical workflow analysis, Cerner data extraction, ETL development, reporting, and enterprise data migration efforts within complex healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical development capabilities combined with a deep understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows., * 11+ years of experience supporting healthcare IT systems and clinical operations

  • Advanced hands-on experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL)
  • Strong knowledge of Cerner Millennium architecture and Oracle databases
  • Extensive experience supporting large-scale EHR implementations, migrations, or optimization initiatives
  • Proven ability to translate clinical workflows and operational requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong experience with SQL, Linux, ETL development, and enterprise data extraction methodologies
  • Experience with healthcare reporting environments and system integrations
  • Knowledge of REST/SOA development and distributed systems architecture
  • Experience tuning and optimizing CCL scripts in production environments
  • Experience with system integration, data migration, and code development
  • Working knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, Perl, or OCI
  • Hands-on experience supporting services within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI, * Experience supporting Cerner Millennium production environments
  • Prior experience serving as a Senior Cerner Consultant or Technical Lead
  • Experience within healthcare modernization and enterprise reporting initiatives
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data governance and clinical informatics workflows
