Job description
Analyzes complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges and other devices. Assists in the development of advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product. Advises Project Support Services team on all infrastructure related requirements. Conducts routine monitoring of communications performance using visual, diagnostic equipment/tools, status indicator checking methods, etc., to locate problems. Recommends and also responds to user requests for system hardware and software upgrades and changes and provides maintenance support for various systems such as electronic mail or other server systems. This position will be required to serve in an on-call rotation. Reports: Director/IT Infrastructure Services Supervises: Lends assistance to the technical work activities of the Network Analyst I WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY
Requirements
Do you have experience in WAN?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Behavioral Criteria: Human Resources may substitute directly related professional experience for required education on a 1:1 basis.
Required Experience: Minimum: Two (2) years directly related professional experience.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
