Job description
The Senior IT Support Specialist provides advanced technical support while assisting in the administration of core IT systems. This role supports Microsoft 365 services, including email and SharePoint, while serving as a senior escalation point for help desk issues. The position also supports endpoint technologies, including printer mapping, printer configuration, and troubleshooting of specialized devices such as Zebra label printers ensuring reliable system operations and high-quality technical support for end users., + Monitor and evaluate flagged emails, ensuring proper handling to maintain email security., + Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, O365 Administration

Manage and monitor user identities and access through Microsoft Entra / Azure AD

Rapid7 Incident response/ Antivirus/Malware cleanup

End-user support and troubleshooting
-
ITSM ticketing system recording detail. Respond to tickets within the SLA policy timeframe.

Strong knowledge of Windows 11 operating systems

Software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

Windows Server Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy

Teams telephone system configurations
-
Layer 2 Networking skills, switching, VLANs.

Printer mapping and configurations

Zebra label printer troubleshooting, Including Colos

Copier and Printer configurations

Mobile Device Management software, + College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related field preferred or similar experience
Other Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies: (include the ability to manage and supervise staff, if required; the ability to travel or speak foreign languages, if necessary, etc.)

Minimum 5-7 years previous technical experience

Layer 1 networking a plus

Ability to build rapport with clients

Ability to carry/lift/move up to 50 lbs. on occasion, depending on product or materials.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Positive and professional demeanor

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to occasionally work overnight shifts and weekends as needed on a team rotation schedule.

Bilingual Spanish a plus

Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.

Availability to support the Production Team outside of working hours if needed.

Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to sit, talk and hear; use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk and climb stairs, lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to multi-task and tolerate frequent interruptions.
