Routing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Routing Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is essential in optimizing transportation routes, managing supply chain operations, and enhancing overall efficiency through data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics and transportation management systems to support seamless logistics workflows and continuous improvement initiatives., * Develop and maintain optimized transportation routes using advanced routing tools and data analysis techniques.

• Utilize transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and Epicor ERP to coordinate freight movements effectively.
• Conduct root cause analysis on routing issues, delays, or inefficiencies to implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to improve processes related to freight planning, warehouse management, and demand forecasting.
• Analyze transportation data using Tableau, SQL, and data visualization tools to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
• Support logistics operations by collecting relevant data, performing business analysis, and generating comprehensive reports.
• Engage in continuous improvement projects aligned with lean principles and process enhancement strategies.

Do you have experience in Transportation planning?, * Proven experience with supply chain management, transportation planning, and logistics operations.

• Strong proficiency in data mining, data analysis skills, and supply chain analytics tools such as Tableau or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with ERP systems including Epicor ERP, Oracle Transportation Management, and AS400.
• Knowledge of freight management practices, 3PL (third-party logistics), warehouse management systems, and demand planning processes.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively.
• Experience working with transportation management systems like SAP TMS or Oracle TMS is highly desirable.
• Excellent research capabilities combined with business analysis expertise to support strategic decision-making.
