Job description

We are looking for a dynamic IT Helpdesk / Help Desk Engineer 2 who shares our commitment and believes in the value of communication and client interaction. As a Senior Helpdesk / Help Desk Engineer, you will:

  • Provide Level 2 - 3 support on-site in a primarily Microsoft environment at our client site;
  • Assist with systems administration and projects; and
  • Document and post procedures.

Helpdesk Engineer 2 Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, Maintain, Upgrade hardware and software;
  • Create and maintain new user accounts, including groups;
  • Work closely with Network and Systems Engineers to gain knowledge of network topology, profiles and tasks within a Windows-based back end environment;
  • Contribute to the planning and design of workstation hardware, software, and application capabilities; and
  • Deliver assigned projects while meeting timelines and budget objectives.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * At least five years of IT related customer service experience in a helpdesk or call center setting;

  • Solid understanding and troubleshooting skills of desktop and laptop OS's, general applications, anti-virus software, Office 365, printers, TCP/IP and communications protocols;
  • Strong technical writing skills; and
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time., * Help desk: 5 years (Required)
