In this position, you will serve as a Systems Engineer with a specialty in Configuration Management on challenging software development projects. You will be engaged with exciting and innovative advancements in Multi-Sensor and Information Fusion, Networked Situational Awareness, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and Visualization technologies. This position is located in Fulton, MD and does require some travel to customer sites as needed.
What You Will Do
- Serve as Configuration Management lead for software development programs.
- Perform full life cycle systems engineering tasks including system requirements analysis, definition, architecture design, trade studies, integration, verification and validation (V&V), formal testing, and software installation.
- Work with systems engineering discipline subject matter experts for department, solving critical technical problems with innovative solutions.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Productivity software?, The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Experience as a Configuration Management engineer on a software development program.
- Experience with standard MS Office product suite applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with Linux, Windows, Virtual Machines, and Containers.
- Experience using software system development tools like DOORS, Cameo, Enterprise Architect, Jira, Confluence, Git, Docker and Jenkins.
- Experience working in Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) and Agile environments applying DevSecOps principles.
- Experience with on-site customer software installation and systems integration along with performing formal software qualification tests and demonstrations.
- Experience with any of the following functions: radar sensor integration, track filtering and track management techniques and algorithms, and any of these systems: Link-16 Tactical Data Link (J series messages), Command and Control (C2), Surveillance/Radars, Air Traffic Control, Mission Planning, Missile Systems or Combat/Fire Control Systems, or Shipboard Combat Systems such as Aegis and SSDS Mk II.

- And more!, The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
