Job description
- Deliver prompt and effective technical support to end-users via help desk tickets, phone, or email, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally
- Troubleshoot software problems across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
- Manage computer hardware including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals to maintain optimal performance
- Support network infrastructure by configuring and maintaining LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewall settings, DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, and network security measures such as Meraki and firewall appliances
- Administer Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server environments, GPO (Group Policy Objects), SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), and BMC Remedy for user account management and system deployment
- Assist with computer management tasks including software installations, updates via SCCM, hardware upgrades, and asset tracking
- Collaborate with team members using tools like ServiceNow and Jira to document issues, track progress, and escalate complex problems as needed

- Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN management, VPN setup, and network security protocols
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure components like firewalls, switches (including Meraki), routers, and wireless access points
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software applications including Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise tools such as ServiceNow or Jira
- Experience managing computer hardware components and peripherals for troubleshooting or upgrades
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into clear guidance for end-users
- Analysis skills for diagnosing complex issues quickly and accurately while maintaining a customer-focused approach
