Job description

The User Support Technician is one of three that ensures

(1) digital communication and connectivity is available for all users to support business functions

(2) computers/laptops/cellphones/printers and other vital tools are properly configured and continue to function,

(3) helpdesk escalation is available 24x7.

The User Support Technician ensures that users are productive using the tools provided by Client: computers, laptop, cellphone, network, cloud services, email, etc. It is the Technician's responsibility to keep users in a standardized working model to maintain high levels of productivity and defensible security at minimal costs.

The technician achieves this by:

  • Provisioning laptops, computers, cellphones using standardized processes.
  • onboarding/offboarding users through checklists
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the digital infrastructure
  • Enforce the standard ways of working to minimize productivity disruptions
  • Leverage the ticketing system to provide a consistent level of service
