Job description

The MDM Solution Engineer will play a key part in establishing Mölnlycke's new MDM capability. You will be responsible for delivering, configuring, and continuously improving our Master Data Management solutions-primarily using Profisee, supported by our Data Engineering team using Snowflake, to ensure high-quality, governed, and scalable master data across the enterprise. This is a hands-on, technical role supporting global stakeholders, where you will work closely with the MDM Tech Lead and other stakeholders to implement technical solutions, drive data quality, and contribute to cost-efficient platform management.

  • What you'll do

Configure and enhance MDM solutions using Profisee, supported by Snowflake and related platforms.

  • Execute data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) for master data domains (Customer, Product, Vendor, etc.).

  • Build and maintain golden records, survivorship rules, hierarchies, metadata, and data quality controls.

  • Translate business policies into automated data quality rules, scorecards, and stewardship workflows.

  • Specify and validate integration requirements and data contracts between MDM and downstream systems.

  • Contribute to Agile delivery (Jira), including stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint commitments.

  • Create documentation, rule catalogs, runbooks, and governance materials.

  • Train and support business data stewards; provide demos and knowledge-sharing.

  • Partner closely with global and U.S. commercial stakeholders to ensure effective and timely support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on MDM experience, including match/merge, survivorship, data quality, and stewardship workflows.

  • Practical delivery experience in Profisee strongly preferred; experience with other MDM tools (SAP MDG, Informatica, Semarchy, Reltio, etc.) also valuable.

  • Strong conceptual/logical/physical data modeling capability.

  • Understanding of Snowflake schemas, keys, integration patterns, and data contracts (coding experience not required).

  • Experience working in Agile environments and with DevOps practices (Git/Azure DevOps).

  • Ability to see the "big picture" - not only technical depth, but how MDM fits into overall enterprise data flows, business priorities, and downstream impacts.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working in a global team.

Our approach to diversity and inclusion

Benefits & conditions

  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and flexible working options
