Sr. Support Engineer, Data & Analytics Operations

The Sr. Support Engineer, Data & Analytics Operations is part of the Application Operation Services, focusing on providing a seamless and valuable digital user experience. The role involves supporting production applications within the Data & Analytics platform both on-premise and in the Cloud, ensuring technologies are functional, secure, and stable.

Sr. Support Engineer, Data & Analytics Operations - Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support end-to-end application operations
• Perform performance tuning for queries, applications, and resources
• Use analytical skills to resolve complex data discrepancies or job failures
• Monitor and support jobs and application performance
• Ensure compliance with Incident, Problem, and Change Management policies
• Provide ongoing communication to key stakeholders
• Develop an understanding of business applications and direction

Do you have experience in SQL?, * 4+ years of experience with AWS or equivalent Cloud technologies

• Experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and Python/R
• Proficiency in Hive/Athena, EMR, S3, and querying in Linux and SQL Servers
• Experience with ETL Tools; Informatica (IICS)
• DevOps tooling experience; BitBucket, CICD Pipeline, Ansible, Jenkins
• SQL Scripting proficiency
• Experience with Datawarehouse & Business Intelligence environments

Sr. Support Engineer, Data & Analytics Operations - Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI
• Familiarity with Mainframe technologies; TSO, ZEKE, JCL, COBOL
