Job description

We're a fast-growing technology integration company that builds smart, secure, and connected environments. We move quickly, we solve real problems, and we're building something that matters.

This company was founded on creativity, accountability, honesty, transparency, and kindness. Those aren't just words on a wall… they're how we operate. We work hard, we think critically, and we actually enjoy what we do.

If you want a place where showing up with energy and ideas actually matters, where growth is earned through performance, and where your work has real impact, then keep reading.

What This Role Is

We hold our work to a higher standard than most of our customers ask for. That is not an accident. Quality is our brand, and it shows up in every run, every termination, and every install we put our name on.

The scope of this work is real. We wire data centers, commercial buildings and large high-end residential properties. We put systems in small offices and we put them in enterprise facilities with security requirements most integrators have never dealt with. The person in this role needs to be ready for all of it.

If you are the kind of technician who takes pride in doing things right the first time, who looks at a finished install and cares how it looks and not just whether it passes, this is worth your time.

What You Will Do

  • Install, terminate, and test low-voltage systems including structured cabling, conduit runs, and cable management
  • Mount, aim, and commission IP camera systems including Axis and Hanwha platforms
  • Install and configure access control systems, with LenelS2 experience being a strong plus
  • Test and certify cable runs using Fluke equipment or equivalent
  • Work from job prints and coordinate with your project manager to keep installs on schedule and to spec
  • Operate independently on customer sites and represent Aegis at the level the work demands
  • Recognize when something is not right and say so before it becomes a problem

What We Are Looking For

Experience matters. But what we are really looking for is someone who has internalized a standard.

We want technicians who think about the finished product before they start the first run. Who pulls conduit like someone is going to inspect it. Who terminates cables like the rack matters. Who leaves a job site cleaner than they found it not because someone told them to, but because that is how they operate.

The range of work here is wide. If you can wire a house, we want to talk. If you can wire a data center, we really want to talk. If you can do both and hold the same standard across either one, come in.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Telecommunications low voltage systems?, * Hands-on low-voltage installation experience, the more varied the better

  • Working knowledge of IP camera systems, specifically Axis or Hanwha
  • Familiarity with access control platforms, LenelS2 preferred
  • Comfortable reading job prints and working without someone walking you through every step
  • Fluke testing and certification experience is a plus
  • Milestone VMS familiarity is a plus, not a requirement

Benefits & conditions

Pulled from the full job description

  • Professional development assistance
  • Paid time off
  • Opportunities for advancement, * You cut corners and assume no one will notice
  • You need to be managed through every step of a standard install
  • You treat quality as someone else's standard, not yours
  • You are not reliable

Why This Role, Why Now

Our field team is growing and the work is getting bigger. We are running projects that require technicians who can operate at an enterprise level without someone standing over them. That is the bar we are building toward, and we are looking for people who are already there or have the drive to get there fast.

Compensation is based on what you actually bring. If you are entry level with the right mindset, we want to talk. If you are a seasoned tech who can run a complex install independently, we want to talk about that too. Show us what you know, and we will make it worth your time.

Travel: National travel as required. Some weeks none, some weeks you're on a plane. The work drives the schedule, not the other way around.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, * Opportunities for advancement

  • Paid time off
  • Professional development assistance
