Technical Architect

• Client is an HR service provider. A crucial part of our services consists of software for all kinds of applications within personnel management and payroll administration. To manage the further growth of our software department, we are looking for someone with technical expertise to take on a number of projects!
• Your range of tasks as a Software Architect is varied. In certain projects, you will help set up the guidelines and architecture of software, you will help streamline and modernize existing projects, you will work out technical analyses and act as a communication link across the various teams.

Your tasks consist of:

• Defining guidelines and architecture of new and existing software projects, in consultation with the team;
• Developing analyses around challenging issues within software development;
• Following up on technological evolutions, concepts and best practices within your field of work. You always evaluate the applicability within the environment and advise the best way of working;
• Coordinating projects and initiatives in this area, including planning and organization of resources for technical implementation and maintenance of relevant solutions

• You have a distinct experience in software development, both in development and analysis.
• You have knowledge of a number of parts of our software stack and are willing to delve into the parts that you are insufficiently familiar with. Met name: Cobol, Java, spring, HTML5, CSS3, Typescript, Angular, Azure, Kubernetes, Linux, GitHub, …
• You have a strong analytical attitude and communicate clearly, both verbally and written;
• You have a do-mentality, coach and inspire others;
• Experience with refactoring and modernization of legacy applications is a plus!
