We are responsible stewards., The Systems Engineer oversees and coordinates the work of technical teams on systems projects, ensuring the successful design, implementation, operation, and technical management of those projects. Taking a holistic approach to systems engineering, the Systems Engineer ensures that all aspects of a system project are considered and addressed. The Systems Engineer works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and then develops and documents technical requirements that meet those needs. The Systems Engineer leads the design team in developing a system architecture that meets all of the requirements. After the system is designed, the Systems Engineer oversees the implementation of the system, working with the implementation team to ensure that it meets all of the requirements. Once the system is deployed, the Systems Engineer manages the technical aspects of the system, including monitoring performance, troubleshooting problems, and making improvements., * Create product or system definitions and conduct initial requirements analysis
  • Contribute to technical reports and diagrams detailing product or system attributes
  • Analyze product or system functionality as defined by requirements
  • Interface with and begin to work with disparate engineering teams for technical tasking, * Engineer efforts to mature data platform to enable better use of the data for Data Science (DS) needs;
  • Develop strategies for the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to include Machine Learning (ML) in projects across business, readiness, and defense domains;
  • Participate in the development of data governance working groups;
  • Provide data and analytical technical support across IPT efforts;
  • Assist CNSP to construct AI programs, establish and grow partnerships, and gain awareness of other data solutions;
  • Guide the use of data visualization techniques to articulate decisional impact from datasets;
  • Develop integrated data models using DoD and industry best practices that align with business and mission requirements;
  • Collaborate proactively with key Data and AI constituents to source, organize, maintain and democratize data and policies related to projects and programs;
  • Create new processes and procedures to overlay complex business concepts and requirements from sponsors/clients with the technical details needed to extract actionable decision intelligence.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Skillset to include interfacing with JUPITER/ADVANA/MAVEN SMART SYSTEMS and using other DON/DOD/Federal specified environments and tools.

  • Knowledge of Data Analysis concepts and methodologies to effectively enable Department of Defense (DOD) Decision making.
  • Skills using Data Science and Analysis tools, innovative technologies and affordable techniques that efficiently transform internal and external raw data into actionable intelligence.
  • Ability to present actionable intelligence in a unified, semantic view for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Ability to achieve an optimal outcome through the application of design thinking concepts.
  • Ability to analyze and define data requirements and specifications required to deliver optimal output to customer., * Active Secret Clearance
  • Knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence concepts and algorithms to ensure data-centric problems are solved effectively and efficiently
