SAP Basis Operations Advanced Consultant

We're looking for a Senior SAP Basis Operations Consultant to support run and project activities across SAP landscapes. You'll own core Basis operations-installations, upgrades, system copies, monitoring, performance tuning, and incident/problem management-in close collaboration with infrastructure, DB, and application teams., * Operate and administer SAP systems (ECC/S4, BW, Solution Manager, PO and related components) across DEV/QA/PRD landscapes.

• Plan and execute SAP installations, kernel upgrades, and support package stacks; manage software logistics.
• Perform system copies/refreshes and client administration (create/copy/delete/export/import) and coordinate cutovers.
• Manage transports (STMS) and coordinate release/deployment activities with functional and technical teams.
• Monitor system health and performance (SAP/DB/OS); analyze dumps, traces, and logs; implement performance improvements.
• Handle incidents and problems end-to-end (prioritization, troubleshooting, RCA, and communication with stakeholders).
• Support database operations and upgrades/migrations (e.g., Oracle/DB2/SQL Server/MaxDB to SAP HANA); HANA troubleshooting is a plus.
• Contribute to operational documentation, runbooks, and service reporting (KPIs, status updates).
• Work effectively in Linux-based environments; exposure to Windows/AIX/HP-UX/Solaris is a plus.
• Occasional project travel may be required.

Do you have experience in Solaris?, * Strong experience in SAP Basis administration and operations in complex, multi-system landscapes.

• Hands-on experience with SAP installations and upgrades (kernel, SPS/SP stacks) and troubleshooting start-up/performance issues.
• Solid knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (monitoring, maintenance activities); PO administration exposure is a plus.
• Experience with transport management (STMS) and coordinating technical deployments.
• Good understanding of database and OS administration for SAP (SAP HANA and/or AnyDB); ability to monitor and diagnose DB/OS issues.
• Strong Linux skills (commands, troubleshooting, performance analysis); Windows knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with system/client administration (system copies, client copies, user administration basics).
• ITSM experience (ticket handling, change processes, RCA) and strong communication with business/technical stakeholders.
• Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure) and DevOps tooling (e.g., Service Manager) are nice to have.
