Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Systems & Automation Coordinator to support the ongoing digital development and operational efficiency of the business.

This role will focus on improving systems, automating processes, enhancing document control, and supporting digital transformation initiatives across the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with management to streamline workflows, reduce manual administration, and implement practical technology-driven solutions.

Strong experience with Microsoft SharePoint is essential. Experience with SafetyCulture and ISO management systems would be advantageous.

This is initially a part-time role for 2 days per week, with the potential to progress into a full-time position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the company's SharePoint environment and document management systems
  • Create and maintain automated workflows using Microsoft 365 and Power Platform tools
  • Review existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks
  • Support digital transformation and continuous improvement projects across the business
  • Assist with document control, compliance systems, and reporting procedures
  • Support systems aligned with:
  • ISO 9001 - Quality Management
  • ISO 14001 - Environmental Management
  • ISO 45001 - Health & Safety Management
  • Assist with SafetyCulture implementation, inspections, reporting, and process management
  • Create digital forms, approval systems, dashboards, and reporting tools
  • Provide support and training to staff on internal systems and processes
  • Maintain accurate records, permissions, and system governance
  • Support wider IT and operational improvement initiatives

Requirements

Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, * Minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT systems, automation, or digital process improvement role

  • Strong experience with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power BI, or Power Apps
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 applications and workflow automation tools
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail and a process-driven approach

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience using SafetyCulture
  • Knowledge or experience of:
  • ISO 9001
  • ISO 14001
  • ISO 45001
  • Experience supporting compliance, operational, or management systems
  • Understanding of continuous improvement and process optimisation
