Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing complex data sets, developing insightful visualisations, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. The position is paid and suitable for candidates with a strong background in data analysis, database management, and project management., * Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other relevant tools.

• Develop interactive dashboards and visualisations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings effectively.
• Design and optimise databases in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
• Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Manage projects throughout the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ensuring timely delivery of analytical solutions.
• Create detailed documentation including database schemas, analysis reports, and process workflows using Visio.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Automate data processing tasks using VBA and Bash (Unix shell) scripting to improve operational efficiency.
• Support ongoing database design enhancements and implement best practices for data security and compliance.

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, SQL (including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server).

• Strong understanding of SDLC principles and project management methodologies.
• Experience with business analysis techniques and database design principles.
• Advanced data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately.
• Familiarity with VBA scripting and Bash (Unix shell) for automation purposes.
• Ability to create clear visualisations and reports that facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation using Visio or similar tools.
