Job description

  • Provides scheduling and administration of ACCUPLACER, Oxford ESL, CASAS, TABE, Credit by Exam, course tests, and ATI assessments

  • Provides testing services to students at designated off-site locations

  • Responsible for administering and proctoring written and computer-based tests following established procedures

  • Processes all tests administered and inputs test scores

  • Maintains testing database and test scheduler

  • Evaluates SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS, and Duolingo scores

  • Represents the Testing Office at recruiting events such as Stop, Drop, Enroll and Open Houses

  • Processes official ATI TEAS transcripts

  • Maintains high level of confidentiality and test security, and actively supports fraud prevention measures

  • Performs related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Products

  • Demonstrated ability to give attention to detail

  • Customer Service experience a plus

Education:

  • High school diploma

  • Associate degree preferred

Competencies and Skills:

  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Products

  • Strong communication and organizational skills required.

  • Must be able to proctor for extended periods of time

Benefits & conditions

This position may require flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location. This is a part time position requiring up to 26 hours per week.

Eligible part-time employees will be enrolled into the DCRP (Defined Contribution Retirement Plan) pension (https://www.nj.gov/treasury/pensions/pension-active-dcrp.shtml) . Employees contribute 5% of their base salary and the college contributes 3% of base salary. Investment options are managed through Prudential Retirement. Life insurance benefits through DCRP are payable to the beneficiary at 1.5X the member's salary.
