Job description

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for multiple clients.
  • Manage firewalls, switches, routers, access points, and VPNs.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and security.
  • Update or create new certificates (CA).
  • Work with AD, Entra ID, and Exchange Online.
  • Use CloudShell, PowerShell, and terminal scripting regularly.
  • Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and cloud integrations.
  • Implement and manage network security best practices, including segmentation, encryption, and access controls.
  • Provide both remote and on-site client support as needed.
  • Work with MSP tools (such as NinjaOne, RMM, and ticketing systems).
  • Document network configurations and processes for internal use and client reference.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * Must currently live within a reasonable commuting distance of Springfield, OR. Applications from outside the region will not be considered.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Systems/Network Administrator, preferably in an MSP or IT services environment.
  • Expertise in firewall and switch management (Fortinet, Cisco, SonicWall, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS, etc.).
  • Experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and cloud networking (Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills; able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications (Net+, A+, CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, etc.) are a plus., * Network Engineering: 3 years (Required)

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift.
  • On-call rotation and occasional weekend and after hours work as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
