Job description

Our client, a global medical technology leader, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team. As a Senior ETL Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data Engineering & Integration department, supporting commercial business teams including Sales, Marketing, and Finance. With a major SAP migration underway-requiring the internal team to rewrite SQL/SAP logic ahead of a 2026 go-live-this role will provide essential operational coverage., + Monitor and troubleshoot daily Airflow-orchestrated ETL pipelines

  • Support data operations across SQL Server, Snowflake, DBT, and Azure Data Factory

  • Investigate and resolve pipeline failures, errors, and data quality issues

  • Handle API-based data tasks and cross-system integrations

  • Communicate issues and updates to BI, Data Science, and business stakeholders

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. This individual will take charge of monitoring and troubleshooting current data pipelines across Airflow, DBT, SQL Server, Snowflake, and Azure Data Factory, allowing internal teams to focus exclusively on the SAP initiative., + 5+ years of hands-on Data Engineering or Data Operations experience

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with RDBMS (MSSQL, Postgres)

  • Proven experience with Airflow and cloud data tools (Snowflake, ADF)

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-system data workflows

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and ownership-driven mindset
