Job description

This is a rare opportunity for a sharp, curious developer at the start of their career. We are not looking for years of experience - we are looking for someone local to Woodbridge who is hungry to learn, excited about AI-assisted engineering, and ready to contribute to real client projects from week one.

You will work alongside our senior engineers in our Woodbridge office, picking up tickets in Linear, running Claude Code on spec-driven tasks, and shipping frontend and integration work across our platform and client builds. You will learn our systems end to end: a modern TypeScript stack, AWS infrastructure, ERP integrations, and a growing suite of B2B SaaS modules.

If you want to spend two or three years in a company that will accelerate your growth faster than most engineering jobs - and walk away with real production systems experience - this is the role.

What you'll work on

  • Frontend development across Nuxt 3 / Vue 3 applications for B2B clients and our own platform modules
  • Integration work connecting eCommerce platforms, ERPs (NetSuite), and custom APIs
  • Running Claude Code on planned, spec-driven tasks and validating output against the spec before review
  • Picking up and closing Linear tickets with clean, reviewable PRs
  • Debugging, testing, and supporting UAT as projects approach launch
  • Learning the full platform stack - from database schema to CloudFront delivery - as you grow into the role

Requirements

Do you have experience in AI?, * Local to the Woodbridge, CT area - this role is in-person at our office

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent self-taught experience with real projects to show
  • Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - you have built something that works, not just styled a page
  • Exposure to a modern JavaScript framework (Vue, Nuxt, React, or similar)
  • Comfortable reading documentation, debugging errors, and figuring things out independently
  • Enthusiastic about AI-assisted development - you have experimented with Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools
  • Genuinely curious about B2B commerce, ERP systems, and the software that powers manufacturing and distribution businesses
  • Clear communicator - you ask good questions, flag blockers early, and write tickets that others can pick up

Bonus points

  • Experience with Vue / Nuxt or a NestJS / Node backend
  • Any exposure to PostgreSQL, REST APIs, or AWS
  • Familiarity with Linear, GitHub flow, or structured ticket-based development
  • Interest in or exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Epicor) or eCommerce platforms (Shopware, Shopify, BigCommerce)
  • Any prior agency, freelance, or internship work where you shipped something for a real client

Benefits & conditions

Pulled from the full job description

  • Health insurance
  • 401(k) matching

About the company

Linear is our project source of truth. GitHub is our code source of truth. We ship at 80%, validate, then iterate. We do not over-engineer features no one asked for. We expect you to ask questions early, communicate when something is stuck, and grow quickly into autonomous execution.
