Job description

Tech-savvy law firm in downtown Sarasota seeking a Junior System Administrator to support daily law firm operations. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who enjoys high-level troubleshooting and wants to become part of a highly productive team. If you are a critical thinker who views IT as a tool for business success, we want to hear from you., * Project Partnership: Partner with the IT Manager to test, evaluate, and deploy new technologies that align with the firm's long-term goals

  • Innovation: Use API integrations or automations to increase firm-wide efficiency
  • Documentation: Create documentation for processes and procedures on all IT-owned applications
  • End-User Support: Provide software support to all members of the firm (Office 365, Salesforce, Adobe Acrobat, Slack, Zoom, MacOS, Etc.)
  • Hardware Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot printers, scanners, video conferencing tools, MacBook Pro laptops, Etc.
  • Strategic Improvement: Identify recurring ticket themes and propose systemic corrections

Requirements

Do you have experience in macOS?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Technical Background: 1-2 years of experience in an IT support, system administrator, or similar role

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Communication: Able to explain technical information to non-technical users
  • Mindset: Critical thinking with a 'security first' approach to new integrations and data privacy
  • Adaptability: Able to pivot quickly between daily support tasks and long-term project work in an evolving environment (SaaS, mobility, and video collaboration)
  • Environment: Desire to work in a collaborative, fast-paced professional setting

Advanced knowledge:

  • Apple Ecosystem: MacOS and Jamf Pro (management/deployment)
  • Saas & Cloud: Salesforce, Office 365, and helpdesk ticketing systems
  • Networking & Security: Networking concepts and IT security best practices (including network security and firewall configuration)
