Information Security Engineer

Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures. Configure, manage, and optimize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms. Collaborate with Security Operations Center (SOC) and Network Operations Center (NOC) teams to monitor and respond to security incidents. Manage Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions. Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate security tasks. Implement robust security solutions for cloud environments. Lead vulnerability and patch management efforts to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure. Conduct advanced threat analyses and provide recommendations for mitigation. Investigate security incidents and perform forensic analyses to determine root causes. Lead disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity. Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory standards.

Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Engineering. Must have three years of experience with SIEM platforms, SOC/NOC operations, and MDR/XDR solutions. Experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Nessus, Qualys, ConnectSecure, Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management, Microsoft SCCM, Ninja RMM. Must have strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA. Supervise employees. 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Salary $146,557.00-$175,000.00 per year. Applicant must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
