Job description
The Information Technology (IT) Specialist supports the System Administrator in day-to-day operation of computer software and hardware owned or leased by the Appraisal District. The applicant shall possess a resume that demonstrates the ability to thoroughly understand the different software products used by the District, as well as train and assist staff in the use of related software. The IT Specialist shall assist all departments throughout the District in query of data and special projects dependent upon the Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal system. Duties may require helping other departments meet critical goals or deadlines that will benefit the entire appraisal district and demonstrate individual contribution to teamwork.
Requirements
Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, The IT Specialist must be a high school graduate. The applicant must be credited with IT training in college, university, United States Armed Forces or trade school and be well versed in computer language used by the District. He/she shall have two years of experience in supporting various computer applications.
Experience with the following, or the equivalent, is desired:
o SQL scripting
o Office 365 with Exchange
o Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
o Hyper V
o Windows Server 2016
