Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) solutions for enterprise environments

Lead the transition from traditional WAN infrastructure to modern software-defined networking architectures

Oversee end-to-end SD-WAN implementation including design, deployment, migration, and optimization
-
Manage and guide engineering teams during deployment of vManage, vBond, vSmart, and vEdge/cEdge components
-
Lead Proof of Concept initiatives for new SD-WAN technologies, features, and enhancements
-
Design and implement application-aware routing and cloud connectivity solutions
-
Develop automation frameworks using Python, REST APIs, Terraform, and Ansible
-
Drive Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) and Infrastructure as Code initiatives
-
Define and enforce network governance standards, policy frameworks, and configuration templates
-
Optimize SD-WAN environments for performance, scalability, security, and low-latency connectivity
-
Collaborate with Network, Cloud, and Security teams to support enterprise-wide connectivity initiatives
-
Support hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud networking integrations across enterprise platforms
-
Create technical documentation, architecture standards, migration strategies, and operational procedures
Requirements
-
6-8 years of experience in enterprise networking and SD-WAN architecture
-
Strong expertise in Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) technologies and architecture
-
Hands-on experience with vManage, vBond, vSmart, vEdge, and cEdge deployments
-
Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IPSec, and hybrid-cloud networking concepts
-
Experience leading enterprise-scale SD-WAN migration and transformation programs
-
Strong experience with network automation using Python and REST APIs
-
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
-
Knowledge of SD-WAN policy frameworks, overlay networking, and routing orchestration
-
Experience integrating SD-WAN with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
-
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for large-scale network environments
-
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership capabilities
-
Ability to work independently and lead complex engineering initiatives
