As a Network Security Engineer - AlgoSec, you will:

• Install, configure, and maintain AlgoSec solutions including AFA, FireFlow, and AppViz for network security policy management.

• Review, analyze, and optimize firewall policies across multiple vendor platforms to ensure compliance, security, and operational efficiency.

• Manage and support L2/L3 network security operations involving firewalls and security infrastructure.

• Automate network security and firewall-related activities using Python scripting and automation best practices.

• Conduct firewall vulnerability assessments, policy reviews, and remediation activities to minimize security risks.

• Utilize AlgoSec AppViz to map business applications with network connectivity and security policies for improved visibility and governance.

• Manage firewall policy change workflows using AlgoSec FireFlow, ensuring proper approvals, tracking, and compliance adherence.

• Investigate and resolve firewall, connectivity, and network security incidents in a timely manner.

• Generate compliance, risk posture, and firewall health reports using AlgoSec analytics and reporting tools.

• Collaborate with firewall vendors and internal teams for upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and security enhancements.

• Provide technical guidance and best practice recommendations for firewall policy management and network security operations., * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders for seamless security operations.

• Deliver accurate reporting, compliance tracking, and risk analysis.

• Adapt quickly to evolving network security technologies and operational requirements.

• 6-8 years of experience in Network Security and Firewall Management.

• Strong hands-on expertise with AlgoSec products including AFA, FireFlow, and AppViz.

• Solid experience with L2/L3 network security operations and firewall technologies.

• Hands-on experience with firewall platforms such as Cisco ASA, Fortinet FortiGate, and Cisco Firepower.

• Good understanding of firewall policy optimization, compliance, and risk management.

• Experience in network security automation using Python scripting.

• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and remediation practices related to firewall environments.

• Familiarity with Proxy technologies, Splunk, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF) is an added advantage.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and incident resolution skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in enterprise environments.
