Machine Learning Researcher

• Designing and developing advanced deep learning models for biological data
• Working with sequence-based and multimodal datasets
• Exploring new architectures, training strategies, and evaluation approaches
• Contributing to longer-term research directions (including foundation models)
• Collaborating closely with bioinformatics and science teams

• PhD in Machine Learning, AI, or a related field
• Strong experience with Python and PyTorch (or JAX)
• Track record of independent research (publications, thesis, or equivalent)
• Experience designing and training complex neural networks (e.g. transformers)
• Strong experimental and problem-solving mindset

Nice to have:

• Experience working with biological or sequence data
• Exposure to large-scale or foundation model training
• Interest in applying ML to real-world scientific problems
