Principal DevOps Consultant

InfoMagnus is seeking a senior-level Principal DevOps Consultant to help enterprise customers modernize software delivery using GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS), Copilot, and secure SDLC practices.

This is not a traditional infrastructure DevOps role. We're looking for a hands-on technical leader with deep GitHub Enterprise expertise who can operate as a trusted advisor, solve ambiguous modernization challenges, and guide customers through platform transformation initiatives. What You'll Do

• Lead GitHub Enterprise modernization and governance engagements
• Design and implement GitHub Actions CI/CD strategies
• Advise customers on secure SDLC and GHAS enablement
• Support enterprise SCM and CI/CD migrations
• Improve developer workflows and platform standards
• Deliver workshops, enablement sessions, and technical guidance
• Build reusable delivery assets and modernization frameworks
• Partner with engineering leaders, security teams, and executives

Do you have experience in Workshop facilitation?, Deep hands-on experience with:

• GitHub Enterprise Cloud, EMU, or GHES

• GitHub Actions and CI/CD modernization

• GitHub governance, permissions, and platform hardening

• Enterprise migration strategy and execution

• Secure SDLC / GHAS implementation

• Consulting and customer-facing delivery* Structured problem solving under ambiguity

• Executive and engineering communication

• Stakeholder alignment and technical decision-making

• Ability to challenge assumptions professionally

• Workshop facilitation, mentoring, and enablement

Bonus Experience

• GitHub Copilot enterprise adoption
• Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, SonarQube, JFrog, Octopus Deploy
• Cloud platforms and regulated enterprise environments
