Job description

Design, build, and deploy AWS applications including large scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics. Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance. Provide guidance, leadership, and mentorship to development teams to build cloud competencies. Develop reusable assets to provision AWS services for use on projects while adhering to AWS best practices. Design database schemas, develop Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processes and scripts for data quality assessments, data cleansing, data loading using native AWS services, Talend and Python. Develop interactive dashboards on Amazon QuickSight. Develop and manage the associate DevOps pipeline for promoting from lower environments to productions. Monitor cloud solutions strategy and approach, including AWS best practices and market trends.

Requirements

Master's degree in Information Systems plus 2 years of experience in any job title/position/occupation involving software engineering. Experience must include: architecting, designing, developing and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms; using AWS and EC2, S3, Redshift, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, RDS, VPC, IAM and security, QuickSight, CloudTrail, Config, CloudWatch, SNS, AMI generation; working with the five pillars of a well-architected framework; SQL, R, and Python for data manipulation and statistical analysis; HIPAA, FISMA, FIPS, NIST, and FedRAMP; PII/PHI; working with database architecture, ETL, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics; collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts. Telecommuting is permitted from any location in the U.S.
