AWS Solution Architect

This opportunity is ideal for a senior-level engineer with hands-on experience supporting scalable AWS environments, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD automation, and production reliability initiatives within cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance AWS-based cloud infrastructure environments
• Improve platform reliability, monitoring, observability, and operational efficiency
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Support Kubernetes/containerized environments, preferably within AWS EKS
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance and respond to production incidents
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and operational improvements
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams on cloud engineering initiatives
• Contribute to automation and DevOps best practices across the environment
• Assist with scalability planning, performance optimization, and system stability efforts

Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, Krostech Solutions is currently supporting a client in the Naperville, IL area that is seeking an experienced AWS Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong cloud engineering and infrastructure automation expertise., * 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering

• Strong hands-on AWS experience in enterprise environments
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture
• Strong experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or Datadog
• Scripting/automation experience using Python, Bash, or similar technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certifications are a plus
• Experience working in highly available production environments
• Exposure to GitOps, service mesh technologies, or AWS cost optimization initiatives
• Experience supporting multi-account AWS environments preferred

Additional Information

• Hybrid schedule with 3 onsite days per week in Naperville, IL
• Candidates located in Illinois or the greater Chicago area are strongly preferred due to onsite requirements
