Primary Skills: Implement native, cloud-native, & hybrid cross-site backup, recovery strategies, Installation & Configuration, data masking, encryption (TDE), Row-Level Security, PowerShell/CLI Automation., Overall IT experience: Required. 3-5 + yrs.

• Education: Bachelor's degree. Required.
• Certifications:
• MUST have excellent communication skills (both oral and written). Clear and concise written and verbal communication is crucial to success and productivity in this role. Required.
• Implement native, cloud-native, and hybrid cross-site backup and recovery strategies. Installation & Configuration. Required. 3-5 + yrs.
• Enforce data masking, encryption (TDE), and Row-Level Security for internal customers. Required. 3-5 + yrs.
• Manage automated indexing, statistics, and integrity checks across fragmented environments. Required. 3-5 + yrs.
• PowerShell / CLI Automation: Automate hybrid environment configuration using PowerShell, dba tools, and Cloud CLIs. Required. 2 3 yrs.
• Query & Index Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, rewrite T-SQL, and resolve locking/blocking issues. Required. 3 5 yrs. Education: Bachelor's degree in information Technology or related field or equivalent experience required.

Location: Lansing, MI. (Local candidates ONLY. Candidates must be located within 1-1.5 hours of Lansing, MI) Start Details: 6/15/2026 Duration: One year with possible extension. Work Arrangement: Hybrid: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. Interviews: Virtual Interview via MS Teams video.
