Job description
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to end users across hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, mobile devices, drivers, and other peripherals
- Support Microsoft Office, Gmail, operating systems, internet applications, and internally developed software
- Assist users with account administration, password resets, and general technical support requests
- Escalate more advanced technical issues when appropriate
- Follow through on IT support requests and ensure timely resolution
- Provide remote technical support to users across multiple environments
- Assist the IT Director with day-to-day IT operations and projects
- Coordinate with outside vendors regarding technical support and incident reporting
- Assist with testing and deployment of new hardware and software releases
- Document and track technical issues and resolutions
- Support multiple users and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Prior customer service and/or phone support experience required
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- Solid Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel
- Experience with Gmail and general business applications
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation required
- Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation, including occasional nights and weekends
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening, * Help desk: 1 year (Preferred)
- Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
