Job description

  • Provide Tier 1 technical support to end users across hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, mobile devices, drivers, and other peripherals
  • Support Microsoft Office, Gmail, operating systems, internet applications, and internally developed software
  • Assist users with account administration, password resets, and general technical support requests
  • Escalate more advanced technical issues when appropriate
  • Follow through on IT support requests and ensure timely resolution
  • Provide remote technical support to users across multiple environments
  • Assist the IT Director with day-to-day IT operations and projects
  • Coordinate with outside vendors regarding technical support and incident reporting
  • Assist with testing and deployment of new hardware and software releases
  • Document and track technical issues and resolutions
  • Support multiple users and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Prior customer service and/or phone support experience required
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong follow-up and organizational skills
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel
  • Experience with Gmail and general business applications
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation, including occasional nights and weekends
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening, * Help desk: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
