Job description

Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of software projects, working closely with development teams to plan and execute sprint-based delivery. The role ensures effective coordination of Agile ceremonies, removes blockers and drives progress, while supporting the Senior Delivery Manager in achieving successful project outcomes., * Manage day-to-day delivery of software projects, ensuring progress aligns with agreed milestones and timelines

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives
  • Work closely with development, QA and technical teams to drive delivery, remove blockers and maintain momentum
  • Maintain and track sprint plans, backlog progress and delivery metrics (e.g. velocity, burn-down)
  • Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies, escalating where appropriate to the Senior Delivery Manager
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable delivery plans in collaboration with product and business stakeholders
  • Support quality assurance activities, including coordination of UAT, defect tracking and resolution
  • Contribute to release planning and ensure readiness for deployments and go-live activities
  • Provide regular delivery updates and reporting to stakeholders, with oversight from the Senior Delivery Manager
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team, embedding best practices in Agile delivery and ways of working

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering software projects within Agile or hybrid delivery environments
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and experience leading Agile ceremonies
  • Experience working closely with software development teams and Business Analysts to support delivery and translate requirements into actionable plans
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, track progress and maintain delivery momentum
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and remove delivery blockers
  • Comfortable managing risks, issues and dependencies within a delivery environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and structured updates
  • Experience with delivery tooling (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira or similar)
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams
  • Proactive and self-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery outcomes, * Positive attitude to Work- Approaches work with positivity and energy and thrives in a busy environment
  • Effective communicator- Clearly conveys information and ideas through the relevant media. Speaks in Plain English
