Job description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to define, govern, and evolve the enterprise-wide data architecture that enables analytics, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making. This role partners closely with business leaders, application architects, engineers, and security teams to ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business strategy., Enterprise Data Architecture & Strategy

  • Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture roadmap, standards, and reference architecture
  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models across enterprise platforms
  • Establish best practices for data integration, storage, metadata, and lifecycle management

Data Platforms & Integration

  • Architect solutions across data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses, and cloud-native platforms
  • Guide integration patterns for ETL/ELT, APIs, streaming, and event-driven data pipelines
  • Ensure interoperability across cloud, on-prem, and SaaS platforms

Governance, Security & Quality

  • Partner with data governance teams to implement data stewardship, lineage, and metadata management
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., PII, HIPAA, GDPR, SOX as applicable)
  • Define data quality frameworks, controls, and monitoring standards

Analytics & Advanced Use Cases

  • Enable enterprise analytics, BI, AI/ML, and self-service reporting capabilities
  • Support domain-oriented and product-aligned data architectures (e.g., data mesh where applicable)

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Act as a thought leader and advisor to senior leadership and project teams
  • Review and approve solution designs to ensure architectural alignment
  • Mentor data architects, engineers, and analysts

Requirements

Minimum Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred) Minimum Experience:10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise architecture Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong expertise in:

  • Enterprise data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical)

  • Data warehousing and data lake architectures

  • SQL and relational database design

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern data services

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with tools and technologies such as:

  • Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse

  • Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, or other streaming platforms

  • SSIS, Datastage,Informatica or similar integration tools

  • Familiarity with TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
