Job description
We are looking for a Junior Web Application Developer to join our growing development team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has hands-on experience building and maintaining web applications using ASP.NET (Framework and Core) and modern JavaScript-based front-end technologies.
You'll work alongside senior developers and IT leadership to support existing applications, build new features, and gain experience working with production systems in a collaborative, remote environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications built on ASP.NET Framework and ASP.NET Core
- Write clean, maintainable JavaScript and jQuery for front-end functionality
- Use Entity Framework to work with relational data
- Assist with debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues
- Collaborate with team members on feature planning, testing, and code reviews
- Help improve application performance, security, and usability
- Learn and grow within established development standards and best practices
Requirements
- Experience with ASP.NET Framework and/or ASP.NET Core
- Working knowledge of C#
- Experience with JavaScript and jQuery
- Familiarity with Entity Framework
- Basic understanding of web concepts (HTTP, MVC, REST APIs)
- Ability to read, understand, and modify existing code
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
- Must be based in the United States
Nice-to-Have Experience
- SQL Server (queries, schema familiarity, basic performance concepts)
- Experience with or interest in Microsoft Copilot
- Exposure to Copilot custom agent development
- Familiarity with Git or other source control systems
- Experience supporting or enhancing existing production applications
