Job description
Duties: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of an application portfolio (e.g. application maintenance, stability, innovation, development, incident, change & problem management) inclusive of a vendor team of resources within an outcome-based contract. Responsible for service delivery oversight which includes Technical Risk Management, Incident, Problem & Change Management oversight performance management, Process Management and Vendor Management. Seek to achieve the highest value service from vendors and evaluates vendor performance based on vendor metrics. Ensure proper coordination of software application design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of work requests and issue resolution. Provide technical and application portfolio risk management consulting leadership to managers and the supplier. Accountable for the technical delivery of work by the supplier for a defined portfolio. Ensure delivery and planning of large application maintenance and currency efforts in partnership with the supplier and project management. Coordinate with the supplier and the Application Development Project team to transition services and support the application maintenance transition activities. Telecommuting permitted.
Requirements
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software
Developer or a related position.
Experience must include: Working with Windows and UNIX operating systems; Working with Java/ J2EE and UNIX programming languages; Utilizing Spring Boot, webMethods 10.x,9.x,8.x, SQL Developer, Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g, webMethods Flow Language, EDI, or Groovy; Utilizing Jenkins, Putty, Tortoise SVN, SOAP UI, FileZilla, or Splunk.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
