Software Developer

· Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using C#, Java and Python.

· Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues reported by users.

· Provide customer support through help-desk channels (email, phone, ticketing system).

· Conduct user training, product demonstrations, and presentations.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

· Document issues, resolutions, and processes clearly.

· Participate in product improvement discussions based on feedback.

MEMC LLC's Global AI Integration Team is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our team full-time, physically located at the GlobalWafers America facility in Sherman, TX. In this hands-on role, you will focus on software development using C#, Java, and Python, while also delivering training and end-to-end solution implementation across multiple software platforms. The ideal candidate is a technically proficient developer with strong problem-solving skills, an excellent communicator, and the confidence to interact directly with customers and stakeholders., · Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)

· 1-5 years of professional experience in C# application development within a structured software environment. Java and Python development experience is plus.

· Comprehensive understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices.

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.

· Proven presentation skills and experience delivering user training sessions.

· Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

· Willingness to relocate locally and work onsite as required.

Required Qualifications

· 1 to 5 years of professional experience in C# development. Java and Python hand-on experience is plus.

· Experience with AI coding tools like Cursor, Antigravity, and Claude Code.

· Solid understanding of software development principles.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong presentation abilities and user training experience.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· Must be willing to relocate locally for onsite work.

· Willing to travel as business requires.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with AI and manufacturing execution system related software development.

· Experience with help-desk or ticketing systems.

· Knowledge of SQL, .NET, or Microsoft development tools.

· Previous customer or technical support experience.

· Familiarity with enterprise IT service workflows.

· Web development experience using .NET Core.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at the GlobalWafers America facility in Sherman, Texas. Remote work is not available.
