Job description
We are seeking a Systems Administrator (SaaS / LAN / Cloud) to support the technology infrastructure that powers our ministry operations worldwide. This is not a remote position, this position reports to and is located in our Albuquerque office.
The Systems Administrator would provide administration, support, and continuous improvement of Faith Comes By Hearing's core technology systems. This position ensures the reliability, security, and effective operation of the ministry's cloud-based business applications while maintaining stable and secure network and server infrastructure on premise and in the cloud.
The role is responsible for administering and optimizing key SaaS platforms used across the ministry, including managing user access, permissions, workflows, integrations, reporting, and data integrity. The administrator works closely with departments to improve operational efficiency through effective configuration, automation, and responsible use of SaaS tools.
In addition, the position supports the ministry's LAN and Cloud infrastructure environment across all FCBH facilities, including network connectivity, servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and backup and redundancy systems. The administrator monitors system performance, analyzes network traffic, and recommends capacity planning and architectural improvements to support ministry operations.
This position coordinates with third-party vendors and technical partners to support infrastructure and application operations, assists in evaluating and recommending system and platform improvements, and contributes to long-term technology planning.
The Systems Administrator will also collaborate with the AI Solutions Architect to support the secure and scalable deployment of AI-enabled tools and automation systems. In this partnership, the Systems Administrator provides infrastructure oversight, identity and access management, cloud resource governance, and production environment support, ensuring that AI solutions integrate safely with existing network, SaaS, and cloud systems while maintaining organizational security, reliability, and operational standards.
SaaS Platform Administration (Secondary - 50%)
- Support and administer ministry SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Office 365, OKTA, Zoom, Dropbox, and Monday.com.
- Manage SaaS user access, roles, profiles, permissions, and workflow automation.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and business process improvements.
- Assist with data integrity, cleansing, and governance across cloud applications.
- Provide training and support to end users both domestically and internationally.
LAN / On-Prem Infrastructure (Primary - 25%)
- Administer and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, domain controllers, file services, and permissions.
- Support LAN/WAN connectivity, switching, Wi-Fi systems, and network troubleshooting.
- Manage virtualization hosts, storage systems, backups, redundancy, and disaster recovery components.
- Configure and maintain firewall policies, endpoint protection, and infrastructure security controls.
- Monitor system performance, respond to outages, and perform capacity planning.
- Coordinate hardware lifecycle upgrades, replacements, and vendor-supported maintenance.
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets, hardware, and licensing.
Cloud Infrastructure Support (Secondary - 25%)
- Maintain and troubleshoot cloud environments in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
- Support cloud monitoring, logging, vulnerability management, and security best practices.
- Assist with cloud networking, database connectivity, and infrastructure performance.
- Contribute to cloud documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Support cost optimization efforts through tagging, billing review, and resource management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in systems or network administration.
- Strong experience in Microsoft-based infrastructure environments.
- Working familiarity with SaaS administration and cloud infrastructure concepts.
- Proven troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or AWS.
- Experience with virtualization platforms, enterprise storage, and backup systems.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Knowledge of Linux systems and cloud-native technologies.
