Healthcare Systems Administrator

We are seeking a Healthcare Systems Administrator to support our growing, multi-location practice. This role is responsible for maintaining reliable, secure, and efficient IT systems that support both clinical and administrative operations.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, sound judgment, and a practical approach to problem solving.

This position supports a Monday-Friday operation with no routine after-hours or weekend requirements, offering strong work-life balance compared to traditional healthcare environments.

What You'll Do

• Maintain network infrastructure across locations (Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls)
• Support and troubleshoot EHR/EMR and practice management systems
• Manage devices including computers, printers, and iPads/tablets
• Oversee mobile device management (MDM), including setup, security, and inventory
• Administer keycard/access control systems and user permissions
• Manage user onboarding/offboarding across systems and devices
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant systems, backups, and security protocols
• Serve as escalation point for IT issues across the organization
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and support partners
• Support new site setups, system upgrades, and standardization efforts

• 3+ years of IT or systems administration experience
• Experience supporting multiple locations preferred
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred (EHR/EMR exposure)
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and cloud systems
• Experience with mobile device management
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage competing needs, * The Healthcare Systems Administrator may be asked to occasionally travel to our Camillus, Fulton, Oneida or North Tonawanda (Buffalo) offices. Are you able to travel to these locations?
