Job description

Overview: This individual will design and sell integrated electronic security systems, including: Intrusion Detection Systems; Browser-based, remotely managed Access Control Systems; IP Video Surveillance Systems; and Fire Detection & Alarm Systems. Will achieve sales goals by working with existing customer base regarding additional systems and services, as well as proactively prospect for new customers through lead sources provided by Sonitrol.

Do you have experience in Security system sales?, Sonitrol Security of Central New Jersey is looking for a self-motivated, tenacious, and confident (B to B) Commercial Sales Consultant with a proven track record of success and a desire to work among the best of the best! Our Commercial Sales Consultants utilize their sales skills to help mid to large sized businesses protect what they treasure most. This Sales Consultant will be responsible for prospecting, generating, and maintaining relationships with accounts, and will have the autonomy to negotiate pricing to close the deal. The successful Sales Consultant will be a hunter that has the ability to identify the right prospects, ask the right questions, and offer the right solutions to their customers., * Exceptional skills in all facets of consultative sales.

  • Ability to effectively prospect and present a broad range of Sonitrol solutions, ranging from burglary and fire, to access control and video surveillance.
  • Ability to meet and exceed a challenging monthly quota.
  • Documented successful track record with the desire for continuing growth., * 3-5 years of Commercial/Industrial sales experience in a technical-based service industry, with security systems sales being a plus.
  • Proven ability to hunt and close business as well as meet monthly metrics.
  • College degree preferred, but not required.
