Job description

The Communications Lead supports the planning, integration, and execution of communications and information technology (IT) infrastructure for B-21 bed-down efforts in coordination with the Program Integration Office (PIO), Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC), and the Department of Defense. This role plays a key part in the design and implementation of network and IT solutions, providing ongoing analysis of system status, risks, and mitigation strategies. The Communications Lead collaborates closely with host wing personnel and DoD IT stakeholders to ensure communications systems are compliant, secure, timely, and operationally effective, while delivering reports and recommendations to support informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years experience with Multi-Level Secure (MLS) or Special Access Program (SAP) network management/maintenance and at least two (2) different automated cross-domain security solutions.
  • Minimum of five (5) years classified information systems experience.
  • Special Security Officer (SSO) experience highly desired.
  • JSIG related RMF implementation experience highly desired.
  • Shall have experience in managing databases to include: Access, Structured Query Language, and Oracle.
  • Shall have working knowledge to manage/maintain Voice over Internet Protocol infrastructure and Chat applications.
  • Minimum High School Graduate; Bachelor of Science Preferred
  • TS/SCI
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II required.
