Job description
CGI Federal is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a multi-platform batch processing environment, providing Linux and Windows server administration, CONTROL M/EM support, and mission critical infrastructure maintenance for a large federal agency., Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain CONTROL M/Enterprise Manager servers, clients, and agents. .Perform Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server maintenance, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting. .Support migrations, rehosting, and software upgrades for scheduling tools and distributed systems. .Develop and maintain automation scripts, utilities, and reporting tools to improve processing workflows. .Identify, triage, and resolve infrastructure issues, coordinating with vendors when required. .Monitor virtualization systems and server performance across environments. .Ensure security compliance and enforce user access standards. .Provide documentation, status updates, problem reports, and weekly activity summaries.
Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance .Bachelor's degree +7 years of relevant IT experience .Strong RHEL and Windows Server administration experience. .Hands-on experience with CONTROL M/EM installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting. .Scripting skills (Shell, Python, PowerShell). .Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper V). .Strong diagnostic and problem resolution skills.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: .Experience supporting scheduling environments in federal or enterprise settings. .Knowledge of batch workload automation concepts. .Familiarity with federal environments is a plus, * Adv Adm - SysAdm & Scripting

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $63,700.00 - $156,700.00.
