Job description
We are seeking a senior Enterprise Architect to lead a large-scale ERP transformation. This role is critical during ERP discovery and Phase 0-defining the target architecture, establishing transformation guardrails, and ensuring alignment across business, application, data, and technology domains.This is a high-impact, hands-on architecture role partnering with executive stakeholders, IT leadership, and a Systems Integrator (SI) to set the foundation for a multi-year enterprise modernization program., Define and document the target-state enterprise and solution architecture for the ERP transformation.
Establish and enforce architecture principles and guardrails (e.g., fit-to-standard, clean-core design, integration and extensibility strategy).
Serve as the architectural authority across all ERP discovery and Phase 0 activities.
Act as the primary architecture counterpart to the Systems Integrator.
Requirements
- 10+ years in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Lead Architect roles.
- Proven experience leading architecture for large-scale ERP or enterprise platform transformations.
- Direct experience supporting ERP discovery, Phase 0 planning, or early-stage transformation design.
- Strong understanding of:Enterprise application ecosystems and integration patterns, Modular ERP design and implementation approaches,Fit-to-standard methodologies, Clean-core and extensibility strategies.
- Experience collaborating with Systems Integrators in complex enterprise environments.
- Ability to operate effectively in organizations with limited internal ERP or enterprise-architecture maturity.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in multi-entity, multi-business-unit, or federated operating environments.
- Exposure to cloud-hosted ERP or enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Strong background in enterprise integration platforms, APIs, data governance, and non-functional architecture requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions without direct authority in large-scale programs.
