Job description

At PwC, our people in cybersecurity focus on protecting organisations from cyber threats through advanced technologies and strategies. They work to identify vulnerabilities, develop secure systems, and provide proactive solutions to safeguard sensitive data. In cloud security at PwC, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and elevating the security posture across our clients' cloud environments, covering IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. Your work will involve having a deep technical knowledge of cloud security and you will work with one or more Cloud Service Providers (CSP) to implement security protocols, monitor for potential security breaches, conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing of cloud-based systems, and stay up to date with the latest security threats and trends in cloud technology.

The Opportunity

As part of the Cybersecurity team you will lead the development and implementation of cloud security strategies. As a Senior Associate, you will analyze complex problems, mentor junior team members, and build meaningful client relationships while navigating the intricacies of cloud security environments. This role offers the chance to deepen your technical knowledge and personal brand while working with advanced technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years of experience

What Sets You Apart

  • Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Security, Management Information Systems preferred
  • Demonstrating leadership in cloud security strategy development
  • Designing scalable security processes and governance approaches
  • Configuring and deploying cloud resources in IaC formats
  • Strategizing automated enforcement mechanisms for cloud security
  • Integrating security scanning technologies into CI/CD workflows
  • Providing guidance on secure coding and cloud security practices
  • Exhibiting thorough knowledge of cloud platforms and security features
  • Proficiency in scripting and common programming languages (Git, Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, C#, etc)

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
